Fatima is a pensioner whose daughter disappeared, leaving her to care for 3 grandchildren. Unfortunately, her pension is simply not enough to cover food for the whole family. She reached out to us during Ramadhan for urgent support.
Sister Hasna is a mother of 3 with no recourse to public funds. Although she sells pastries to a local Algerian café to make ends meet, she still struggles throughout the year to feed herself and her children.
Brother Aslam was recently granted leave to remain. However, due to delays and miscommunication with the DWP, his family of 6 found themselves with absolutely no income for several months. As a result, they turned to us for emergency support.
