Testimonials
My children don't eat the food in the hotel. The money we receive is not enough to feed them. They are hungry. Thank you for your support.
Jazaakumullahu khayran! The food in the hotel is not always edible and the money we receive is not enough for our family of 6. May Allah reward you for your support.
As a part-time cleaner, with 2 children and no recourse to public funds, I rely on the support of generous donors. Thank you for helping me and my children

Subulus Salaam beneficiaries testimonials
Brother Aslam was recently granted leave to remain. However, due to delays and miscommunication with the DWP, his family of 6 found themselves with absolutely no income for several months. As a result, they turned to us for emergency support.
Fatima is a pensioner whose daughter disappeared, leaving her to care for 3 grandchildren. As her pension is simply not enough to cover food and clothing for the whole family, she reached out to us during Ramadhan for urgent support.
Sister Hasna is a mother of 3 with no recourse to public funds. Although she sells pastries to a local Algerian café to make ends meet, she still struggles throughout the year to feed herself and her children.
“My wife came to this country on a skilled worker visa with so much hope—for us, and for our four children. However, we did not anticipate how difficult things would become. Shortly after, my health condition worsened. Because I am her dependent, I have no recourse to public funds. Her income—though earned honestly and with dedication—simply does not stretch far enough for a family of six in London. Therefore, with four young ones to feed, clothe, and care for, the pressure on our household became overwhelming.
It was then that Subulus Salaam found us at a point of real hardship. For instance, receiving Zakat al-Fitr ensured our children did not enter Eid burdened by the anxiety we carried as their parents. In addition, the Zakat al-Maal we received helped restore a basic stability to our household.
Ultimately, I make du’a that Allah accepts the Zakat of every donor and multiplies their reward. This charity carries out its work quietly and sincerely—and truly, for our family and our children, that sincerity made all the difference.”
— Abdul, wheelchair user, London
Ayesha (not her real name) fled domestic abuse whilst having no recourse to public funds. Despite her difficult circumstances, she reached out to us and is now one of our supported beneficiaries.
